Casting the King (Discovery Channel)

Nabataean King Aretas IV 

Arabic Man, Aged 35-45

King Aretas IV was the most powerful king of the Nabataean empire and is thought to have supervised the construction of Petra, in modern-day Jordan. For our historic reenactments, we will need an Arabic male aged 35-45 to portray the king. We are looking for someone with an athletic and powerful build. Please note there is no audio for this role, so the actor must be skilled at projecting power through non-verbal action. The actor should have long hair, at least down to their shoulders.
