PROJECT DESCRIPTION
Adam Wa Mishmish is a premium Arabic-language children’s brand creating joyful, high-quality music and stories that help young children connect with the Arabic language and Levantine culture.
We are casting a touring live ensemble for Adam Wa Mishmish Live Shows.
These are family stage concerts featuring Arabic songs, storytelling, movement, audience interaction, and live performance for young children and their families.
We are seeking warm, playful, musical, high-energy performers who love working with children.
PROJECT DETAILS
Project: Adam Wa Mishmish Live Shows
Type: Live touring children’s musical show
Union Status: Non-Union
Format: 45-minute interactive musical show
Audience: Children ages 0–7 and their families
Tour: 5–8 shows, TBC
Dates: Various U.S. tour dates, TBC
Location: Various U.S. cities
Rehearsals: Required before tour dates
Pay: $250 per show
Travel: Travel, accommodation, and per diem provided by production
Deadline: TBD
GENERAL REQUIREMENTS
Seeking performers who are:
• Fluent in Arabic for actor/singer roles
• Strong singers and/or musicians
• Comfortable performing for children ages 0–7
• High-energy, patient, expressive, warm, and playful
• Not afraid to be silly or goofy
• Able to follow simple movement or dance direction
• Comfortable leading sing-alongs and interacting with families
• Reliable, professional, and available for rehearsals and tour dates
Experience with children’s entertainment, theater, improv, educational performance, music, or live family programming is a strong plus.

1 FEMALE LEAD ACTOR / SINGER
Gender: Female
Age Range: Open
Arabic: Fluent Arabic required
Singing: Strong singing voice required
Seeking a bright, warm, extroverted performer with a strong singing voice.
Must be able to sing live, follow simple movement, engage preschool-age children, and be open to physical comedy.
Should be silly, goofy, playful, and infectiously upbeat.
2 MALE LEAD ACTOR / SINGER
Gender: Male
Age Range: Open
Arabic: Fluent Arabic required
Singing: Strong singing voice required
Instrument: Guitar ability preferred
Seeking a charismatic, playful performer with a strong singing voice and guitar ability.
Must be comfortable with simple movement, physical comedy, and direct interaction with preschool-age children.
Should be bright, warm, silly, goofy, and playful.
3 FEMALE SUPPORTING ACTOR / SINGER
Gender: Female
Age Range: Open
Arabic: Fluent Arabic required
Singing: Decent singing voice required
Seeking a warm, energetic, playful performer who can sing, move, and engage with young children.
Must be comfortable with simple movement, physical comedy, and a joyful children’s performance environment.
4 MALE SUPPORTING ACTOR / SINGER
Gender: Male
Age Range: Open
Arabic: Fluent Arabic required
Singing: Strong singing voice required
Seeking an extroverted, upbeat performer who can sing, move, be silly, and connect with preschool-age children and families.
Must be comfortable with simple movement, physical comedy, and interactive storytelling.
5 OUD PLAYER / GUITARIST
Gender: Open
Age Range: Open
Instrument: Oud and/or guitar required
Arabic: Arabic ability preferred
Seeking a skilled oud player and/or guitarist for a live Arabic-language children’s show.
Must be open to a playful, family-friendly performance style.
6 PERCUSSIONIST

Instrument: Percussion required
Arabic: Arabic ability preferred
Seeking a skilled percussionist for a live Arabic-language children’s show.
Must be open to physical comedy, playful interaction, and a family-friendly performance style.
